Mel oversees the postsecondary readiness of students in the largest public school district in Indiana, Indianapolis Public Schools (IPS). She has dedicated her career to ensuring all students have access to quality educational programs that prepare them for enrollment, employment, and enlistment, and is currently pursuing an EdD in Educational Leadership from Indiana University.

Anna specializes in strategic implementation and conflict management to meet the challenges of dual enrollment, postsecondary student transition, academic advising, and first-generation student development. In 2024, she received her doctorate in the ethical leadership program with an emphasis in social justice at the University of St. Thomas - Houston.

Briana Evans

When you were a kid, what career did you want to have? Detective

Briana grew up on a farm in southeast Nebraska, where she learned the importance of family and the value of hard work. She presently serves as a school counselor in USD 113 Prairie Hills, where she is involved in IPS implementation in her building, district and state. Briana enjoys following her boys’ activities with her husband, spending time outdoors, and learning new crochet stitches.

Dr. Tonni Grant is the Director of College and Career Solutions for Economic Mobility Systems in Dallas, TX. Dr. Grant’s responsibilities include: Overseeing the implementation of a college and career readiness case management system, CC Solutions, in Texas school districts and beyond; working with district personnel to ensure student data is obtained and transferred for the assurance that all dashboards and resources are programmed and coded to the district’s specifications, and much more.

Jason started in education in 1997 as a mathematics and computer science teacher, spending 11 years as a teacher, before moving into an Instructional Technology Coaching position. The last 8 years of his career, he has been in the position of Supervisor of Secondary Education for Curriculum & Instruction. Jason oversees all contents and instructional practices in grades 6 through 12.

Reno is a Family & Consumer Sciences professional working in CTE. He has experience as a secondary teacher, instructional specialist supporting CTE teachers and state department of education CTE program administrator. He currently leads Johnston County Public Schools’ career development program, work-based learning initiatives, career academies, and business partnerships.

MaatenRe supervises a diverse group of counselors in her district, while also pursuing a doctoral degree in the newly established Counselor Education and Supervision program at Bowie State University. As a counselor of color, she is committed to eliminating barriers to opportunities and resources, encouraging students to courageously explore new possibilities.

Valerie has served her Pinellas community for more than 20 years as a school counselor and presently as a School Counseling Supervisor for the past 4 years. Her number one goal: ensure every child has access to career exploration and post-secondary options, along with resources and guidance for their plans to come to fruition.

Wade has over 23 years of experience in education as a secondary school teacher and instructional leader for teacher additional qualification courses for York University and the Ontario English Catholic Teachers Association. He is currently a teacher at the Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board.

She is committed to preparing students for college, career and life through a focus on academic rigor, career technical education, college courses, work based learning experiences and comprehensive student supports.

Tony is employed as an Education Consultant at the Calhoun Area Career Center located in Battle Creek Michigan. Tony provides goal oriented, equity focused professional learning and training to school counselors and administrators. He has also served as President of the Michigan School Counselor Association.
